Based on the international biannual cycle, local, regional and national competitions will be programmed to ensure that all suitable qualifiers can bench mark their performance internationally.
The WorldSkills competition is held every two years and is the platform where young competitors from member nations around the world compete to become world champions in their fields. This international competition sets world-class standards in at least 40 official skill categories.
WorldSkills-South Africa is the official body affiliated to the international WorldSkills organisation and is the national body responsible for the South African entry into the WorldSkills Competition.
